Research Interests

My research interests focus on the intersection of educational technology, interaction design, and HCI. Based on a broad topic of design and education technologies, I investigate fundamental questions on how people interact and collaborate with AI-powered tools and agents.
I design and research learning technologies for young learners to empower their creativity, SEL, and STEM learning.
My current research focuses on leveraging AI technology for learning and teaching by designing pedagogical agents for primary schoolers, exploring design aspects of promoting interaction and collaboration between child and AI agent, and examining how these AI technologies play the role of learning companion for children’s growth.
